Simulation-Based Training
Also known as التدريب بالمحاكاة
Definition
Simulation-based training reproduces a real system, environment or interaction closely enough that learners can practice on it and transfer the skill back to the job. It ranges from software simulations of business systems to full physical simulators, and its defining property is safe repetition of authentic tasks.
Simulations are the standard where real practice is dangerous, expensive or irreversible, as in aviation, healthcare, industrial operations and work on high-value equipment. The value comes from deliberate repetition under progressively harder conditions, including failure states that would be unacceptable to induce in production.
Judge fidelity by what the skill requires. What matters is that the cues the learner must respond to, and the feedback they receive, behave like the real thing; visual polish beyond that adds cost without improving transfer.
