Terms of Service
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Salalem website, the Salalem platform, and the Salalem apps for Android and iOS. Using the Service means you accept them.
Who these terms are from
Salalem provides this Website and the Service, and is referred to below as the Company.
Definitions
In these Terms, Company (also “we”, “us” and “our”) means Salalem. Website means the Salalem website, at salalem.com. Service means the Salalem platform, the Salalem mobile apps, and the services the Company provides through them. Account means the account created for you to access the Service. Content means anything published or submitted in the Service, including courses, assessments, documents, video, and the material you upload yourself. You means the individual using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf that individual uses it.
Accepting these terms
You accept these Terms by creating an Account or by using the Service. Where you reach Salalem through your employer, that organization holds its own agreement with the Company; that agreement governs the commercial relationship between them, and these Terms govern your use. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Service.
Your Account
An Account is personal to you. Keep your password and your device secure, do not let anyone else use the Account, and tell us at support@salalem.com if you believe someone has. Where your organization created the Account, it can suspend, reassign or close it, and it decides what you are able to see. You are responsible for what happens under your Account.
How you may use the Service
Use the Service for your own learning and for the work your organization assigns you. Do not copy, download, record, resell or republish course material outside the Service. Do not share the Account, upload anything unlawful or malicious or that you have no right to share, attempt to reach data belonging to another organization or another learner, or scrape, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service. We may remove Content that breaks this section.
Assessments
An assessment must be your own work. Some are proctored, and you are told before an attempt begins: the app may ask for a photo of you and of an identity document, take one location reading as the attempt starts, and record integrity signals while it runs — the Privacy Policy sets out how that data is handled. Taking an attempt in someone else's name, using help that was not permitted, or capturing questions to pass on invalidates the attempt, and your organization decides what follows.
Who owns what
The Service, its software, its design, and the courses the Company publishes remain the property of the Company and its licensors; an Account grants a license to use them while it is active and nothing further. Material your organization uploads stays your organization's, and it grants the Company the license needed to host, process and display that material in order to run the Service. A certificate the Service issues records your own achievement and is yours to keep and to share.
Paying for the Service
Most organizations buy Salalem under a signed agreement or a purchase order, and the commercial terms of that contract govern the subscription. A subscription bought online through the Website or an app store is covered instead by the Refund Policy and the Cancellation Policy published on this site. Fees are payable in advance, and continued access depends on them being paid.
The mobile apps
The Salalem apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and each store's own terms apply alongside these. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and carry no obligation to support the Service. A subscription billed through a store is cancelled in that store's subscription settings. The apps need a network connection for most of what they do, and any mobile data charge is a matter between you and your carrier.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; cancelling a subscription bought online follows the Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or close an Account that breaches these Terms, that puts the Service or its users at risk, or whose fees go unpaid, and we tell the organization's administrator when we do. On termination the license to use the Service ends; what happens to the data in the Account is set out in the Privacy Policy.
What we do not guarantee
The Service is provided as it stands. We work to keep it available and accurate, and the Security page of this site states what we can say plainly about how it is run and protected. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or free of error, that a course will produce a particular result, or that it satisfies a specific regulator's requirement unless we have agreed that in writing. Availability commitments, where an organization has them, are in its own agreement.
Liability and disputes
So far as the law allows, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss of data, and its total liability on any claim is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law. Where your organization holds an agreement with the Company, that agreement names the law these Terms are read under and the forum that settles a dispute about them. Anything else, raise with us at support@salalem.com first.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and we tell administrators ahead of a change that materially affects your rights. Using the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms. Write to support@salalem.com with any question about them.
